Method of Assessment
We are responsible for providing quality training and assessment in compliance with the Standards of RTO's Clauses 5.1 and 5.2, and for the issuance of the AQF (Australian Qualifications Framework) certification documentation.
The term assessment refers to the process that the Australian Adult Learning Institute will use to gather and discuss information from multiple and diverse sources, in order to develop a clear picture of what a student knows, has learnt and understood, and can do with their knowledge gained as a result of their educational experience with us.
Our goal is to guide you towards the successful completion of your Nationally Recognised Qualification with the industry knowledge and practice, to confidently implement these skills into a workplace environment.
Upon enrolment you will be provided with an Assessment Plan recommending the dates to complete your assessments over the duration of your course.
The assessments that you will be completing
You should respond to all the formative and summative assessments by completing your assessments online after you have read all the online learning resources for the unit of competency that you are currently studying. Written responses can be recorded in the areas provided within your online learning, or submitted in either a word or pdf document.
As part of the completion of your online course you are required to complete knowledge based questions and practical demonstrations of the skills you have gained.
For some of these activities you may be required to work and interact with others in a practical application and/or setting.
